Central completes a placement of 91.0 million shares at 5.5 cents, raising about $5.0m via Patersons, for its drilling strategy and working capital. A Share Purchase Plan underwritten for $5.5m is planned. Price is well below the 8.6c placement of September 2010.

What it means for a shareholder

91.0m new shares at A$0.055 to raise about A$5.0m. That's 8.5% dilution: every existing holder's slice gets 8.5% smaller. If you held A$1,000 of shares (18,182 at the issue price), your slice goes from 0.00185% to 0.00169% of the company. To keep it you'd need 1,684 more shares - about A$93 at the issue price.
