Whalers reached planned depth with casing cemented and Rig 18 released, completing drilling of both Suttles wells with full planned laterals in target formations. Zipper-frac completion is next, then sales. No flow rates or costs reported yet.
Completed purchase of Lone Star's US oil and gas interests, a Stonehorse subsidiary, for US$1.114m (~US$9,100 per flowing BOE/d). Adds ~123 BOE/d, about 9% of Q2 production, with no new shares issued. Stonehorse is Brookside's Orion partner.
Whalers intermediate casing is cemented and the curve landed in the targeted Woodford bench. It is drilling ahead in the lateral. Simultaneous fracture stimulation of both wells follows once production casing is in.
Sabres reached its planned ~14,200 feet total depth with 5½-inch casing cemented and tested. Whalers has been spudded. Both wells will be fracture-stimulated together once Whalers is drilled. No flow results yet.

Sabres spudded 7 July 2026 as the first of two Suttles wells, targeting the Sycamore at about 7,700 feet with a ~1.5-mile lateral. Brookside holds ~70% working interest. Whalers follows. This ends the wait for Rig 18 and the earlier May start.
Production facilities at the Suttles pad are substantially complete for Sabres and Whalers. Rig 18 is nearing release from its current job; power and gas pipeline work is under way. No spud date given, so the May start has slipped.
At the 29 May AGM the Remuneration Report passed with 71.16% in favour, but the 28.84% against was a second strike, so the conditional spill resolution was put and failed with 79.78% against. Fry was re-elected (77.97%), Weatherl elected (86.91%), and takeover provisions renewed (92.41%).

Riverbend update: more than 40% of the initial leasehold objective is now secured, with title and regulatory planning continuing. Still in the land and planning phase; no drilling timing given, and reserve-definition drilling depends on acreage, approvals and capital.

The Chair urges a vote for the Remuneration Report after a first strike at last year's AGM (47.44% against). A second strike would trigger a spill resolution. Proposed incentives would be 50:50 relative and absolute TSR. Also says the share price rose up to 54% in seven weeks to 21 April.
Brookside signed a drilling contract with Kenai Drilling for Rig 18 to drill the Sabres and Whalers wells (about 1.5-mile laterals) on the Suttles pad. The rig moves over after finishing a job in the Ardmore Basin; earthworks are nearly done.
