The Austrian Science Fund (FFG) will contribute A$0.6m to a A$0.75m research project on Welchau geology and environmental sustainability, with University of Vienna scientists. Supports the Welchau gas prospect (807 BCFE best technical prospective); it does not change drilling timing or resources.
ADX will ask shareholders on 28 September 2023 to approve a 10-for-1 share consolidation, cutting shares from 3,621,367,519 to about 362m. Holders keep the same percentage; the share price should rise about tenfold, with no change in underlying value.
Austria's mining authority issued the Welchau-1 drilling permit after a public hearing with no major objections. Drilling must occur 1 Oct 2023 to 31 Mar 2024, after a final environmental clearance, expected Q4 2023. Resolves the permit thread; clearance remains outstanding.
MND Austria will pay EUR 1.335m back costs and fund EUR 5.28m for the Anshof-2 and Anshof-1 wells to earn 30% of the Anshof field area. Up to EUR 11.52m including contingent payments. ADX keeps 50% and operatorship; completion needs Austrian ministry clearance.

Austria's Ministry of Finance awarded the Anshof oil field production licence, ADX 80% and operator, about a year after the Anshof-3 discovery. Test output is averaging 113 bopd, to rise to about 150 bopd in Q2 2023; Anshof-2 and Anshof-1 wells are planned from Q3 2023.
MCF Energy declined its option to fund a further 50% of the Welchau-1 well, so it will hold 20% and ADX 80% once MCF funds 50% of the EUR 3.81m well. ADX will seek other farm-in partners for the remaining 50%, targeting Q3 2023 drilling.
The unmarketable parcel sale facility completed: 25,509,213 shares from 1,580 holders were sold for A$193,541.56 (about 0.76 cents each). Proceeds are being distributed to those holders, leaving fewer small holdings on the register.
The Chairman responded to Austrian media coverage and local community concern about Welchau, saying some reports were misleading. ADX believes the permits can be obtained in four to six months. Shows local scrutiny of the drilling plan; no permit has yet been granted.
Kepis & Pobe assigned the Welchau farm-in to TSXV-listed MCF Energy, which recently raised C$8.5m. The option on a further 20% was extended from 21 January to 28 February 2023, subject to MCF proving financial capability.
ADX set up a share sale facility for holdings worth under A$500 (71,428 shares or fewer at 0.7 cents), with an opt-out by 3 February 2023. The company says it will cut register administration costs.
Kepis & Pobe met completion conditions for the Welchau farm-in, paying EUR 197,000 pre-drill costs and a EUR 100,000 option fee. ADX also signed a land access agreement for the Welchau-1 site with the Austrian Forestry Ministry, resolving the site-access issue; permits still needed.

Commercial oil production began at Anshof-3 at a stable 100 barrels per day, lifting ADX's Austrian oil output by 30%. Rate is capped by on-site storage and trucking. This delivers the first Anshof oil targeted since the January 2022 discovery. ADX holds 80%.
ADX signed a letter of intent with RWA Solar Solutions for joint feasibility studies of 2 MWp of solar at its Vienna Basin fields, covering about 45% of its power use. It is non-binding and depends on study results; this advances the solar evaluation thread.
