ADX raises A$4.4m via a placement of 163m shares at A$0.027, a 15.6% discount to last price, with one free option per two shares (A$0.0405, 24 months, subject to a late-May shareholder meeting). Funds HOCH-1 in April, two more shallow gas wells, Sicily data and the Oslo listing.
What it means for a shareholder
163m new shares at A$0.027 to raise about A$4.4m. That's 18% dilution: every existing holder's slice gets 18% smaller. If you held A$1,000 of shares (37,037 at the issue price), your slice goes from 0.00507% to 0.00415% of the company. To keep it you'd need 8,272 more shares - about A$223 at the issue price.
ADX extends A$750k of its A$1.25m loan notes from 31 March 2026 to 30 September 2027, with new options replacing the lapsing ones. The other A$500k is to be repaid on 31 March. HOCH-1 spud now early April 2026.

ADX revises Welchau prospective resources to 387 BCF mean gas and 31 MMBBL mean light oil and condensate, adding updip oil and gas below the well. Reaching the gas target would need deepening Welchau-1 by about 600 metres. These are unrisked prospective resources, not reserves.
Welchau-1 recovered light oil and gas from the Reifling Formation, with oil density matching deeper samples, supporting ADX's updip oil interpretation. But inflow was too small for stable flow and no reservoir pressure was recorded; a larger coiled-tubing acid job is being evaluated.
Executive Chairman's 23 February 2026 operational activities presentation, focused on Vienna Basin workovers. The readable text is disclaimers and reserve definitions only; no new results or figures are shown.
After a 6 cubic metre acid treatment, Welchau-1 returned brine, methane and CO2 to surface, the first hydrocarbon gas from the Reifling Formation in the Welchau anticline. Sustained flow is not yet established and the well is shut in between swabbing.
ADX confirms Welchau-1 is ready for acid stimulation and flow testing of the Reifling Formation, interrupted since January 2025 by environmental objections until a September 2025 court ruling. ADX holds 75%. Testing aims to check for updip light oil.
ADX says Welchau-1 testing is rigging up, HOCH-1 shallow gas site preparation is under way, and four Vienna Basin wells are being repaired, plus a sand-control clean-out and pump change. HOCH-1 spud stays late March 2026; workover results come in the March quarterly.
ADX's new Welchau mapping identifies an updip light oil accumulation of 18 MMbbl and gas condensate of 125 BCF (mean, unrisked) above Molln-1, shallower than expected. These are prospective resources; Welchau-1 testing comes first, then a sidetrack or deepening.

ADX says Welchau-1 flow testing restarts in early February 2026 after a workover rig is contracted, starting with acid stimulation of the Reifling formation. HOCH-1 (8.0 BCF) is the first of up to three shallow gas wells; a rig is contracted and HOCH/GOLD permits are due mid-January.
ADX lifts the Sicily Channel C.R150.AU permit's best-case prospective gas resource 31% to 619 BCF (100% ADX), from the 2022 estimate, using nearby analogue fields and three new prospects/leads. This delivers the upgrade expected; an ENI data room visit and a third-party report are planned.
