The joint venture agreements with Husky are dissolved and the lawsuits between the parties were dismissed, resolving that thread. Gastar also reported its first operated Meramec Shale well (Deep River 30-1H) peaking at 1,094 Boe/day (71% oil) at a cost of $6.4 million.

The deal also settles lawsuits between Gastar and Husky, and the settlement would be rescinded if the purchase is terminated.
