What it means for a shareholder
8.5m new shares at about A$0.1025 to raise about A$875,750. That's 0.568% dilution: every existing holder's slice gets 0.568% smaller. If you held A$1,000 of shares (9,756 at the issue price), your slice goes from 0.000653% to 0.000649% of the company. To keep it you'd need 56 more shares - about A$6 at the issue price.
Non-binding MoU with Highview Power for a gas sales agreement: 3.6 PJ a year (10 TJ/day) for at least five years to its proposed Gladstone-area energy storage project. Adds a second potential domestic buyer alongside CleanCo; nothing is binding yet.

The Santos Mahalo deal was restructured after funding proved hard amid the gas reservation uncertainty. Completion payment drops from $38m to $28m ($18m cash plus $10m in shares), contingent payments rise to up to $30m, and the funding deadline moves to 14 August 2026.

The CleanCo GSA conditions on finance and transport/processing were extended again, from 31 May to 30 June 2026. This is the second extension in about six weeks, so the conditions remain unmet.
Comet Ridge says the new federal LNG domestic gas reservation, starting 1 July 2027, has no direct impact on it but may influence its markets. It expects the scheme to encourage new supply and may sell much Mahalo gas to LNG; details are not yet released.
March 2026 quarter: Santos has finished its FEED input and is preparing a handover, and Jemena's pipeline has its Queensland environmental approval but awaits the pipeline licence. Cash fell to $2.63m (unaudited) from $7.1m. PURE Tranche 2 warrants (22.7m) expired.
Comet Ridge and CleanCo extended the dates for the two remaining GSA conditions (finance, and transport/processing) from 31 March to 31 May 2026. The gas sales agreement stays alive but the conditions remain unmet.

ASX confirmed that Listing Rules 11.1.2 and 11.1.3 do not apply to the Santos Mahalo acquisition, so no shareholder vote or re-compliance with admission rules is required on that basis. Resolves a point flagged in the 17 December announcement.
Federal EPBC approval received for Mahalo North (PLA 1128, 141 km2, 100% COI), allowing up to 68 coal seam gas wells. This resolves the long-awaited approval, expected in December, and adds to the Queensland EA granted August 2024.
