This is a much higher price than the $2.75 to $3.00 of earlier placements. Morgan Keegan gets a 2% advisory fee. A resale registration statement is due within 30 days, with penalties up to 18% (about $6.3 million) if deadlines are missed. The press release cites a Corvina well test of 5,900 barrels of oil a day and says part of the proceeds will speed development of the Corvina oil discovery.
