Talon has firm commitments for a A$5m placement of about 2.5bn shares at A$0.002, a 33% premium to the 20-day VWAP, with 1-for-2 free options at A$0.004. A$0.89m comes in the first tranche. The rest needs shareholder approval and would lift cash to about A$6.4m. It funds the Walyering farm-in.
What it means for a shareholder
2.50bn new shares at A$0.002 to raise about A$5.0m. That's 58% dilution: every existing holder's slice gets 58% smaller. If you held A$1,000 of shares (500,000 at the issue price), your slice goes from 0.0281% to 0.0117% of the company. To keep it you'd need 703,516 more shares - about A$1,407 at the issue price.
