June quarter report repeats the 16 May Presidio 52#1 result of over 100 barrels of oil a day and 1.2 million cubic feet of gas. Acreage is now 17,850 gross acres. A new company secretary, Henko Vos, appears. Gas commercialization is still under review.
Presidio 52#1 is now producing over 100 barrels of oil a day, with an oil cut above 10% and gas at 1.2 million cubic feet a day. Oil output has risen from 70-80 barrels a day in February as frack water unloads.
Flowback of Presidio 52#1 resumed after tubing and a compressor were installed, at over 1.5 million cubic feet of gas a day and 750 barrels of water a day with a 3% oil cut. About 72,000 barrels of frack water remain to be recovered.
March quarter report repeats the February Presidio 52#1 rates. A gas compressor is being installed for gas-driven lift, after which flowback will restart. Presidio 141#2 and Quinn Creek 141#1 stay shut in. Gas options include a pipeline 40 miles away. Cash figures not shown in the extract.
Half-year report to 31 December 2022 repeats the Presidio 52#1 frack and the 9 February rates of 70-80 barrels of oil and 700,000 cubic feet of gas a day. It shows 21,690 gross acres held after 30,574 non-core acres expired. Financial figures not shown in the extract.
Presidio 52#1 is producing 70-80 barrels of oil and about 700,000 cubic feet of gas a day after 10 days of flowback. Only 42,000 of 115,000 barrels of frack water are recovered. This is the first post-frack rate, but the well is still mainly flowing back frack water.
The Presidio 52#1 four-stage frack was completed and flowback began, recovering about 1,600 barrels of frack fluid a day. During the quarter the Boquillas test flowed gas and oil at modest rates, and Quinn Creek 141#1 flowed wet gas at an estimated 1,000+ MCF a day.
The 4-stage frack across 1,623 ft of Presidio 52#1 was completed and flowback has begun, initially recovering frack fluid. The stages are co-mingled. No oil or gas rates yet, so the completion result is still pending.
The Presidio 52#1 four-stage frack across 1,623 ft is expected to start 10 January 2023, subject to the frack crew finishing a prior job on schedule. It will use 120,000 bbl of water and 3,000,000 lb of sand. This follows the weather delays from September.
Workover tests flowed gas and oil naturally. Presidio 52#1 lower Boquillas (20 ft perforated) flowed at modest rates unfracked, despite low permeability. Quinn Creek 141#1 flowed wet gas above an estimated 1,000 mcf/d, unmetered. Presidio 141#2 gave 626 mcf/d and 74 bbl oil in 24 hours; both wells were shut in pending artificial lift.
September 2022 quarter cash report: cash fell to A$15.8M from A$21.7M, with A$1.3M operating outflow and A$4.7M exploration spend. About 2.62 quarters of funding at that rate. No borrowings or new capital raised.
September quarter report: frack design for Presidio 52#1 completed, with a crew still to be scheduled. At Presidio 141#2, pressure build-up testing is finished and artificial lift installation is nearing finalization, resolving the earlier testing thread.
Annual corporate governance statement and Appendix 4G, approved by the board 30 September 2022. Reports compliance against ASX recommendations; no new operational or financial news.
Annual report to 30 June 2022 restates Presidio 52#1 drilling and a 70% interest in 4 wells over 59,984 gross (41,988 net) acres, down from 85,685 gross after 26,572 non-core acres were allowed to expire. Financial figures not shown in the extract.
Helios will complete Presidio 52#1 with a 4-stage vertical frack over 1,623 ft, co-mingling production. The August start slipped because of heavy rain and a shortage of frack crews; no new date given.
June quarter report repeats the Presidio 52#1 drilling results (TD 8,806 ft; 1,623 ft of Ojinaga and Eagle Ford with strong shows and natural fractures). Low-porosity Buda and Georgetown noted. Completion program still being designed; no flow results yet.
June 2022 quarter cash report: cash fell to A$21.7M from A$26.7M. Operating outflow was only A$9K, with A$5.3M exploration spend, mainly Presidio 52#1. About 3.87 quarters of funding at that rate. No borrowings.
Responding to an ASX query, Helios said it knows of no undisclosed information explaining the share price rise from 7.2c to an intraday 9.3c and higher volume on 27 July 2022. It confirmed it is complying with the Listing Rules.
Presidio 52#1 reached TD of 8,806 ft, short of the 9,800 ft planned, with strong oil and gas shows in the Ojinaga and Eagle Ford. The deeper Buda and most Georgetown showed very low porosity. A completion program is being designed; no flow test yet.
Presidio 52#1 was cased to 8,255 ft after very good to excellent oil and gas shows through the Ojinaga (793 ft thick) and Eagle Ford (849 ft). 30 sidewall cores had live oil. Drilling into the Buda and Georgetown is due within 3 days.
March quarter report: Presidio 52#1 spudded late in the quarter, and the 141#2 pressure build-up testing is still said to end shortly, with artificial lift needed for commercial oil. Also covers the second China helium JV. No new results.
