Partner Anzon reports first oil cargo (300,000 barrels) shipped from Basker-Manta, in which Beach holds 50%. Basker-2 has averaged 8,000 barrels a day, with four more wells due onstream in the third quarter. Reserves are 30.1 million barrels proved and probable.

Beach announces its first offshore oil sale: over 121,000 barrels worth about A$10 million from Basker-Manta, where it now holds 50% (up from 25%). This more than doubles daily production from about 2,800 bopd onshore. Four more wells are planned.
